We live in Denton county near Dallas/Fort Worth Texas. We have been active in the North Texas Sheepdog rescue for 7 plus years. I personally have been apart of rescueing 6 dogs at once who were left outside in 100 degree plus heat without food or water! Old English are great dogs but are lots of responsiblity to own. Texas Oes rescue is a great Organization full of people who truely care about the breed.

Not all families are designed for a puppy! Consider Pet stores,Puppy Mills are all the same in my opinion - Stay Clear Good Breeders should tell you details of personality,temperament of the parents,grandparents. Dogs and pups should always be raised as part of a loving family and not just kept in the backyard as a status symbol. Dog owners should be involved in the development of the pup from the day they are born Training and Grooming are essential when owning this breed. Ask about Hip x-rays, Eye certs,Vaccinations and tail dockings. AKC registration and Certified Pedigree.
