Located in NW Illinois. All breeding stock is AKC regisitered, OFA certified. My dogs are mainly Czech working lines, very driven and people-oriented.

We have gotten three and soon to be four, German Shepherd Dogs from Barb over the past 12 years. We have enjoyed them as our family dogs and would not think of purchasing from another breeder. We have enjoyed brief classes in obedience training and agility training which was fun and good for them socially but these dogs are so easy to live with they practically train themselves as you live with them day by day. They are excellent watch dogs with an imposing presence,being substantial in size and all black. This causes visitors and delivery people to wait for the "all clear." Our dogs never display fearful or unpredictable behaviors,and it seems that they follow our lead in situations. With an "If you're OK,I'm OK" attitude. We do not have small children ourselves but have children that visit frequently. It is hard to say who enjoys the visits more,the children or the dogs!
