Vom Adlerberg breeds Deutsch Kurzhaars through the German standards and is a kennel affiliated under the Deutsch Kurzhaar Verband and is a member of the NADKC. Our kennel was founded with the interest of producing quality versatile gun dogs for the foot hunter.

Our goal is to produce dogs that have a true desire for all things sought in a versatile hunting dog rather than a dog that can simply be taught those things. Yet at the same time, we want dogs with high drive, are easily trainable, and one can live with happily in the home. We personally train, handle and hunt our Kurzhaars as opposed to sending them to professionals. We feel this gives us better insight into our dog's capabilities to be trained and handled by "regular hunters" like ourselves.
