Submitted by: Brett Atwood on May 09, 2011I have been around Labs and Goldens all my life and I have never owned better dogs than these. We started out with a yellow female who is now almost 10 years old. A few years later we got a chocolate male -- he will turn 7 this July (2011). About 18 months ago we returned to Tealbrook and picked-up Mollie -- a black female. Each one has a laid back temperment and could not be more respectful in the house and with guests. I swear Tealbrook dogs come out of the womb pre-trained! Tealbrook Labs are happy everywhere you are -- in "their spot" on the kitchen floor, at your feet while you watch TV, or chasing balls, sticks, squirrels or whatever when you want to be active. We crate-trained all three and that is their safe-place. They go in when ever they want to and we only shut the door on them when we want a repair person to come in, work, and leave. Very few even know we have 3 large dogs. They never bark for no reason, btw. I could go on and on. Bottom line: you will never second-guess your Tealbrook decision; these dogs will give you more love and happy times than you could ever imagine.
Submitted by: Sharon Stewart on Feb 08, 2011We have a black lab from Tealbrook. Sadie is now 8 years old. She is a rare one from Tealbrook that is not standard... We love our Sadie but she is tall, big, strong and so very hyper. One professional trainer agreed with us that she is the most strong willed dog they had ever seen. A good friend had a black lab from Tealbrook, actually from the same parentage as my Sadie... that matched the Tealbrook standard. Smaller is size, calm in personality etc.
Just to let you know even though Tealbrooks is really good. Sometimes genetics do their own thing.
Submitted by: Kimberly Carr on Dec 19, 2009We have a 3 year old black labrador retriever from Tealbrook Kennels and could not be more happy with our experience. The owner is very knowledgable and all the advice she gave us was right on. Our lab has an amazing temperment and is a star in the duck blind. He is the perfect mix of a family dog and a hunting dog. We highly, highly recommend Tealbrook Kennels and will be returning to them in the future.
